Default Traktor Pro v1.1 Update in 'Final Test' Phase!

Hey NI just announced the much anticipated update to Traktor Pro is now in its final testing phase. Soon! Hopefully very soon! Can't wait!

This phase, as stated in the NI forums, stipulates "final testing - the update goes through a final series of standardized tests prior to release."

For those of you not aware, the new update will have these improvements:

    New and improved features:

    • New "Advanced Relative Mode" (skip-to-start and zero sticker drift for vinyl, search and loop button support for CD decks)
    • High-Resolution 14 Bit MIDI support
    • New Z-Plane Elastique V2.1 time-stretching algorithm
    • Advanced Interface/Controller Setup Wizard
    • New "Manual" clock mode for manual assignment of master and slave deck
    • Improved master clock tracking of deck tempo (8x increase)
    • Synchro Start
    • Adjustable pitch bend sensitivity
    • Modifiers for keyboard mappings
    • New 10% tempo slider range to match native range of various CD decks (CDJ etc.)
    • Option to remove Traktor-specific tags from music files
    • Option to physically delete tracks in browser
    • New "History Archive" browser node

    Fixes:

    • Timecode Input now fully disabled in Internal Playback mode
    • Various other fixes

Ohh so they changes the name of the Update to 1.1 (a couple of hours ago it was 1.0.3). Probably to reflect that this is a bigger update than originaly inteded.

So is this going to fix pro so that its club ready? I want to upgrade but only if I can use it.

If it isn't club ready now might as well upgrade and see if it makes it any better. *shrug* What's gonna happen? Gonna make it less club ready?

so for the tech-illiterate of us, does this mean the master/slave functions are like Traktor 3 ?

i sure hope so, it's one of my major gripes about tpro.

I'm assuming NI has a pretty rigorous test process, but I'm plenty of familiar with software companies jumping the gun on patches that ultimately require more patches to patch the patch. Not to be a debbie downer.
