    Default Hows my dj setup?

As I'm getting back into it. Here's my dj setup plan
Traktor s4 (ordering this week. Not buying it used)
    2 technic 1200 mk2 with m447 carts

Later I plan to buy a used dj mixer like a vestax pmc 06 or something. Then upgrading to traktor 2 for the dvs system. I already have a license for traktor scractch pro. Then getting the audio 10 or 6 as backup for the s4 for gigging. Question should I look at the numark tx usb turntables to replace my. Technics? What do you think?

    Why the vestax pmc 06?

tbh, I'd still with the 1200's rock solid, and where a club has tables 99% of the time it'll be them, so they'll be familiar.

Sounds good, but I have no clue why you'd want to get an analogue mixer with the S4, it would just complicate things. I would stick to the Technics if possible.

rane mixers are awesome, if you can find a second hand ttm56/56s go for them

they are built like a tank and would last a lifetime

    Traktor Pro 2 / S2 MK2 / X1 MK2 / Audio6 / Pioneer HDJ2000 / Westone UM3X / rMBP 13 inch 2014 (2.8 GHz) / Focal Alpha 50

what are you trying to do?

No need for an Audio "10" as a back up to an S4!!

    This

There's a touch of 'shiny kit' syndrome here I think ...

Agree. S4 already has a great mixer and you really dont need the analogue. other than that good setup.

Honestly I'd say go the other way. Get a real mixer.

I don't really see the point in going for the s4 when using turntables. It limits you to internal mixing, makes you rely on your laptop, introduces latency and unnecessary conversion when using real vinyl etcetc.
