    Default volume faders

I've had the S4 for a while now, and I've searched this a couple times and havent found anything.

I've noticed that the volume fader for the track only really works for the top 1/4. normally on a analogue style mixer, as soon as you press it up, you should start hearing it the track, normally i dont hear the next track come in till its more than halfway up on the s4. thoughts? I've calibrated many times.

    thanks

That's just how they are (for now)

I'm guessing they will offer an upfader curve setting adjustment in the next full release, as many people have been asking for it.

I didnt mean to make it sound like I dont have any sound till the top half, if nothing else is playing i can hear it faintly, it just seems like when im mixing, the top 1/4 is a huge gain compared to the rest.

If NI is aware of this, thats pretty weak, Its odd that I never read anything about it when I was deciding one.. I feel like that would be a deal breaker for many, especially trance djs.

it's the way is meant to work, is not a calibration issue.
