    Default My S4 is redundant........

Since i bought my turntables haha..its just a fuckin mixer these days.... every time i get chance to get on them its my turntables im gettin on, obviously using the S4 as the mixer.. once i get myself confident enough with the turntables im going to use deck c as a track deck and use d as a sample deck then see where i get to like that.....

You can also try beatmatching on the S4 itself to get a feel for CDJ style mixing. Longer term, it'll be nice to have transport and beatmatching control over C and D, especially with samples being a bit touchy.

This is exactly why I don't recommend the S4 for people who want turntables. Much better off buying a real mixer and not being chained to some software for no reason.

Well...some people like the best of BOTH worlds.

Sometimes...I like the VCI100....just to jam in bed and try out new things.

When I wanna Remix on the fly proper....I have my full setup.

I couldnt recommend the S4 enough, especially for those who want turntables too. In my opinion its miles better than if i would have just had my DJM600 say, ive got direct access to all the loops, fx, sample banks, easy to scroll thru tracks and load them, have the loop recorder and have direct access to 4 track decks if wanted its the dogs bollox mate, i am not in no way dissin the S4 i couldnt think of a better set up than the one i have at present for what i want, the S4 is the best piece of kit ive owned!
