youtube is your friend man! look for traktor, serato, ableton, and plenty of other dj software videos...depending on which one you like and your budget you can start looking for controllers for those softwares...

good starter for traktor is the mixtrack pro, vci-100, and of course the s4 (depending on budget)

good starter for ableton is the launchpad or apc20

search for midi controllers as well...

but like they mentioned above read some threads and utilize the search button

My advice to you would be to start smoking heavily.

And, checking this forum/website and your favorite stores like Beatport, Traxsource, Stompy and Juno to find what's "hot" right now, and what's in line with your style and taste.
