Default The Wedding of Traktor and Maschine

I teamed up with Jens (on the NI forum known as GalleryONE) to develop a workshop that shows, how to use some advanced routing techniques to get a better integration of Traktor and Maschine. Both applications will be running on the same OS X system. Jack OS X is used to route the audio between Traktor and Maschine and from Maschine an audio interface.

Three of the five parts are online now:
Part 1 shows how to get this setup up and running in external mixer mode of Traktor. Here Traktor Audio 10 and the Allen&Heath mixer Xone:92 is used.
Part 3 shows how to MIDI sync Traktor and Maschine.
Part 5 lists some free plugins that could make sense in a DJ setup to process the Traktor audio in Maschine.

    Coming up:
Part 2 will give an example when using Traktor Kontrol S4 and internal mixer mode of Traktor. Part 4 will show how to apply Send effects on the Traktor audio routed in Maschine.

Feedback is - as always - welcome.

Big ups! I'm gonna ply through this when I get home tonight and try to get it working in a Windows environment.

    EDIT:
And before anyone asks. Virtual Audio Cable is a program for Windows users as Jack Audio I believe in Mac only.

I have been using Jack for OS X for some other purposes already, and it works fine.
I have no experience with the Jack version for Windows yet.

And: the MIDI clock sync between Traktor and Maschine works way better than on Windows.

as far as i know... jack is only for OS X
the midi clock... yes, it's not perfect on win (u'll see BPM floating a bit on the slave, +/- 0,02), but still ok for any use.

    Jack is available for Windows.

And the Traktor > Maschine MIDI sync fluctuation on my Windows is a lot higher than +- 0.02, it is probably 20 times that.

20 times? O_o means +/- 0,4 bpm... is really TOO high, even for a windows system

anyway... anyone here tried jack for win?
I tried virtual cable, but is really not suitable for djing, it introduces a HUGE latency
