    I've got a pair of Pioneer HDJ-500 White
    very nice, look great, good sound detachable cable, short and long coil cable.

    Unless he wants to step it up $$$ wise, that problem seems accross the board for most DJ headphones in that price range. Now, the Pioneer HDJ-2000 has joints made of metal instead of plastic... but they are $349
    hahaha not quite 349 (more like 249) but still pretty damn expensive

    Now that my earphones are always busted & i'm in a dire need of durable listening headphones, i'm looking for a good multipurpose cans that is good for mixing, monitoring & leisure

    Price is not a problem but it's better be reasonable, i dont mind any non-brand names too as long as they have great sound (example similar sound quality like Sony EX77 earphone) and most importantly durable. thanks in advance!

    thank you, i do have this in my wantlist..but i'm open to any other suggestions

    I already have the Sony V700 for djing/monitoring purpose but they are bit bulky to transport & also feels heavy for casual listening, although they sound quite good.
