can someone tell me if if the Sennheiser HD 25 are an over the ear design cus the cups seem kinda small?...im debating whether to get the Sennheisers or the Ultrasone Dj1 Pro's, but if the Sennheiser HD 25 are an over ear design that clamp down on my lobes i think im gonna find that quite annoying...

no they are not overear but i had the same thinking about those hd 25's but i borowed them ones from a freind and they work pretty well with keeping the outside sound away.

still i got the dj pro's because they did it better

I had a pair of these too - I do not recomend them, they brake way too easy. I think they are actually made by sony for stanton, with a few extra gimmics on them, as they look identical

this is what finished mine off:

note the other cup is covered in duck tape to hold it together as all the plastic parts have fracture cracks.

best advice, go to a store which has some on display and try them out, thats what I plan on doing next week.

    I have the Technics, the HD-25s and Ultrasone's DJ-1.

I really love the HD-25s, but after a hearing concern.. I switched to the Ultrasone's.
    Love them since...

"hearing concern"- how about this combination:
    1. of course HD 25 they have absolute isolation with velour earpads

    I haven`t seen this post.
I couldn`t find on internet this picture to compare it before buying, so here it is:

Yes technics has only one earphone.
    Size doesn`t matter! Well,hmmm...
When I first got it I thought it`s a toy but I was sooooooooooo WRONG.
Last night my friend have a gig using RP-DH1200 and he wasn`t happy because isolation is bad. HD-25 hasn`t that problem.
