the off topic section is a fun place...it's getting a bit annoying with the people pushing the rules...but i am sure once a ban or two is handed out that the problems will solve themselves...

Obviously drugs are age in-appropriate because they're illegal, porn isn't appropriate for a safe for work forum, what's you guy's beef with guns? Is this a case of someone's political views causing them to censor other's freedom of expression, is it?
What else can't we talk about? Austerity measures and welfare reform? Gay rights? Marriage problems? Illegal car modifications? Firearms as a hobby is totally legal, and very common in the United States. Don't let the ban hammer powers go to your head.

So I can't start a "Bachmann will beat Obama" thread? Hell, "Serato vs. Traktor" should be off limits, along with "Using sync means you aren't a real DJ." People can stomp their feet and scream over a normal discussion and get it put off limits? The loudest person gets their way? That's not a community I want to be a part of.

if you want to discuss guns and the right to carry them i am sure there are plenty of forums for that...this isn't one of them...

This also isn't a gardening forum, fishing forum, marriage advice forum, or anything else like that. Are you telling me we can't have rational discussions here? How about a rule that says people have to act like adults?
