I watched your mix last night with my gf. Here's my feeback.

    - I really liked the format of the video, watching you mix with traktor overlaid on your physical actions.

    - It's clear that you have good skills with your controllers and traktor's features, as well as an understanding of how to program a mix. Given that, I'd like to see a little more attention to the finer details of mixing, especially EQ and levels. I saw that you frequently had all 4 tracks playing at full volume with no EQ cuts. The result was an overall impression of sonic busy-ness.

    - When your original tracks are also very busy in terms of their composition, playing through them very quickly and heavily overlapping them can also be overwhelming. I say this as someone who has done some VERY busy megamixes, check my soundcloud, heh..

Then there are some timed comments/notes I made while listening :

    - 1:50 there was a bad harmonic mix. the rest of the track selection sounded ok together harmonically.

    - 2:50 you have 4 tracks playing at full volume, and are only cutting the high end and bottom on a one of them. it is VERY LOUD and VERY BUSY. this is the essence of my feedback on "sonic busy-ness" above.

    - 4:30 a bit of looping/effects abuse.. super duper maximal, this time with effects.

    - 4:45 you make me feel old and cranky by playing a mashup of "smells like teen spirit"

    - How can a person DJ dance music without tapping their foot or like.. doing the weird DJ turntable coffin hump or whatever? There are a few times where I see you twitch along with the 16th notes, but this was WEIRD.

Thanks for posting, and keep at it!
