This sounds like an interesting premise for an Onion article.
    A headline something like:

Brazilian man peeved by lack of fanfare for online post count
Migel Rubio, AKA Spider Monkey, is disappointed after his 1000th post to an online poker forum was met with silence and general disinterest. Rubio achieved his milestone at approximately 0230 AM GMT in response to another forum member (Sally Skidmark) in an argument regarding proper card shuffling etiquette. After he hit the "Submit" button on his wonderfully articulated rebuttal...nothing really happened.
"I wasn't expecting fireworks or anything like that, but a cookie would have been nice." says Rubio.
The following afternoon Rubio posted news of his achievement in a General Discussion area of the forum and was met with a modicum of applause. Rubio lamented, "I feel kind of [sic] cheated. I mean, most of the people congratulating me were below 1000 posts and were just perfunctorily adding to their own post count."
Rubio says that he will continue to frequent the site and plans to send out a proper notice via his Facebook blog when he nears 5000 posts.

    +1 post for me
