    Yep..
It's a pretty big factor for many DJs.. maybe not all.
Just the thought of having an EQ all the way down and still have noise coming through seems weird.. If I wanted noise from that band I'd leave it open a little.

Edit: I'm almost 100% sure Xones are full kill..
    at least mine was!

You're not even right there dude, the DJM900 DJM2000, xone 42, xone db4 all have isolators.

Ecler, Behringer, Numark, Pioneer, A&H and more all have isolators on their latest mixers.

Yeah the DJM 900 and 2000 have full kills, but you need to activate it.

Some Xone mixers have full eq kill, or a 30dB cut.

Traktor's eq kill as of now only works for the Classic eq setting; for all other settings it's the equivalent of turning the knob to -100% (right - which ironically should be a full kill). Engaging the eq kill button then only serves as a fast way down to -100% in terms of what Traktor let's through. Which is pretty much useless especially as there's no way to efficiently map the eq kill to a single knob, even if it would have worked.

Traktor's eq sucks to be honest, and this is why I think so.

?? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but you can map a knob so that when its all the way to the left it triggers the kill switch.

I've never tried it with EQs.. but I know with effects you have have knobs trigger switches at certain points.
