Default upgrade to scratch pro, a few questions

ok so im thinking of moving to scratch pro 2 from pro 2 , my only question is will istill be able to use my controller if i do as i would like to have 2 tsi's saved, one to use the controller solely for effects, and the other for other events where i could just use a controller? sorry if this has been asked before but ive just finished a gig and am shattered but had a play on one of the other dj's scratch pro and kinda fell in love with it

I'm pretty sure the only difference is the use of timecode. Unless you used turntables that your not usually using then it all should be the same.

It's exactly the same, but offers time code support.

Another question in a similiar vein, if I have a S4 with the Scratch upgrade kit, is it still possible to use a Audio 4/6/8/10 soundcard for timecode with the S4 Scratch software?

    Cheers

Yes if you get the S4 scratch update you can use any of the NI scratch certified sound cards without the S4 in the equation at all. You could even use it with the S4 as long as you chose the correct sound card in settings.
