    Default vector / svg help

i just spent half a day tracing a picture to make it a vector. i get that you save it as an svg like you would xcf for gimp or psd for photo shop

i get that svg is really the only format where you can view it as a vector

    is there another?

i tried converting my picture to .png and it came out... well... most of it was missing

then i tried it as a pdf (not that i could upload that to imgur) and it looked really rough with some parts missing and stuff

so wtf? how come i can find vector art on fucking google and i cant save this to my own computer? its not even big.
