    Default Time Signature DJing (Traktor)

This is my first post here, and I must say I learn so much from DJ Tech Tools.

I had a quick question that I really cant find the answer too on the internet, and was hoping could also become the basis of one of the blog articles one day.

Basically I am wondering, while DJing, what is the best way to make time signature changes say from 4/4 to 3/4.

Furthermore, what is the best way in Traktor to handle mixed time such as 3/4, as the loop buttons are only multiples of 2 (4,8,16,32).

    Thanks.

In what situation would you want to use a 3/4 time loop?

It would be super cool if you could play a 4/4 loop and sync it up to a 3/4 loop. Over 12 loops should line up. I used to do this playing bass with a drummer.

You could use manual loop to set these loops.

So really you can already do it haha.

IT just wouldn't be on the fly.

You have to use the loop in and loop out commands and snap needs to be off.

Never know when you want to throw in an old waltz over a hip hop loop.
