    Default Cross Fader Mapping...

G'day DJTT First off I searched on here and Googled it. What I'm wondering is how do I momentarily stop my cross fader from moving. Here's the back story... I'm mapping my X1 So I can command pretty much all of the functions for two decks, problem is I have run out of knobs so what I was wondering is how I use a modifier to turn off my cross fader and turn on a filter and use the same knob to control either.
TL;DR How to turn off my cross fader.
    Thanks guys...

It's been a while since I've used Traktor, but I think something along these lines would work:

Assign a button to be your "shift" key. Have it toggle one of the modifiers between 0 and 1 for to make it an on/off button.

Set the controls you want to be toggled to have that modifier as a condition.

Make additional controls using the same button/fader/knob and set the same modifier as the condition at a different number.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong or unclear. :/

    If Modifier = 1, Cross fader = 0 there for if Modifier = 0 cross fader = 1
but the cross fader cannot be controlled by an on/off switch can someone explain further please.
