    Yeah that's just pretty much straight up disco-inflected house. Moroder bassline straight out of 'I feel love' intact. Not too shabby - but not techno.

    For all the whiney bitches moaning about people looking for music recommendations, the stuff posted on threads like these usually end in people losing 6-7 hours of their daily lives trawling through some absoultely amazing music, learning about the music labels pushing the talent of the genre to the top of everyones playlists and ocassionally, learning about club nights where they can enjoy this kind of stuff and see you dont need to be David Guetta or Skrillex to make people dance.

    Monoloc's Nohouse is good, but that Xhin remix is seriously heavier (and loopier. third deck track)

    =>Look for Sleaze recordings
    Oblig. MD post (not that MD, the other one), "alarm" type track.

    Browse the Vault series on beatport. Some rough stuff there

    Robert Hood (one of the godfathers of minimal techno) got seriously up and running again in the past couple years, here's a recent remix for Tommy Four Seven

    Right on - while you're at it, lend his more 'minimal' stuff an ear.
