Hi,
Does anybody knows any software like MP3Tag for free on OSX ?
I found some but they are not as easy to work with as MP3tag does...
Even if you know a non free but efficent software, be my guest and fell free to talk about it.
Cheers

There is a free program called iTag, its pretty good and it free, it helps you rename you mp3 file name, like so... track number - artist - track name.mp3 or artist - track.mp3. it reads the id3 tags. I use iTunes to setup my tags. I did run into a small problem with reading tag v2.4 so you might have to change them to v2.3 and it works like a charm.
I use this, probably the same as iTag but it's a script that Itunes uses so no .app installed, It writes the ID3 tag "artist - track" or whatever you specify to the file name.

you can also edit the script so you don't get the popup every time

I-tunes will do it for you, depending on what you're wanting.
Open i-tunes and then highlight the tracks you want in the batch
Then choose get info from the file drop down or cmd+I
It will ask if you want to edit multiple files, click ok.
Voila you can edit most tags from there, not all admitedly though.

Yes... I don't know yet all itune functions (I only started to use it when I get my mac last month) but I did exactly what you said and it works!
Thank you

I've used iTag to rename all my mp3's but it's no longer working as its not compatible with lion. Anyone know of any similar programs for Mac OSX 10.7.1?
