Default DVS - mixer or audio 10?

I love using decks to mix so want to get dvs traktor again. What do you guys think? Mixer or audio 10?

Dvs is portable obviously but realistically I'm gonna carry on using my vci-se for the odd parties clubs i still play at. Or i just use club cdjs.

    It's just for home use...

I've got a pioneer 600 but fancy upgrading that too.

So scratch certified mixer or straight up tsp2 package?

S4 isn't an option really (cause I just don't like it) though finically makes sense

IF you're *sure* you will stick with your controller to play out, I'd get an certified mixer, as it can live where you DJ and you don't have to lug it to gigs - else get an A10 as it's more portable

Get an audio 10 and use timecode CDs ? and when in the house use your TTs

Assuming you want the audio 10 over the 6 is for 4 deck control?
Are there any 4 channel scratch certified mixers out there apart from the denon?

    DJM900.

As you (OP) already said, portability is the only advantage of the soundcard. I don't think anyone here can determine exactly how important that is for you.

And don't forget the DN-X1700! Fully timecode certified. I hear there is one going for a crazy price on the buy and sell discussion page

Many clubs start to have mixers like DJM-900 Nexus so then all you need is Traktor Scratch. So get a A10 or A6 as a backup plan.

Budget is sort of an issue...

Djm 900 is kind if perfect but that's a lot of clams to be able mix mp3s with timecode.

There's also the scratch upgrade cost innit
