    Default Laser Beam Midi Controller

This looks like fun! Kind of like a Theremin or the Space Pallet (from the controller battle).

This is the description from the video......
Control Virtual DJ, Traktor, Serato, PCDJ, & Other Popular DJ Software and Equipment With Light! Beamz -- the interactive laser controller compatible with virtually any DJ, production, and lighting software applications, including Virtual DJ, Traktor, Ableton, Reason, Cakewalk, PCDJ, and many more -- allowing DJ's access to over 50 triggers for cue points, FX, loops, samples and lighting via MIDI and keystroke mapping. Beamz is ideal to use along with your current gear to add a new visual dimension to your performance. Now DJ's can even use the laser beams to simultaneously trigger commands for lighting control applications. Be more creative than ever - get the Beamz Pro now at www.beamzdj.com and Play The Light!

    Cost on website was $330.

If it is triggers only (0 or 127) then it's just a load of visual wank that could be achieved with any button.

That's what I was thinking also lethal. The software let's you make "super buttons"/macros, but I don't know if it will change parameters in increments. I'll watch the software tutorials later and see.

They also had a set up for it to be an interactive music device like at a party or reception.
