    The app is scheduled for October and iOS5 (along with 10.7.2) is supposed to come mid September, so unless you are jailbreaking your iPhone you should be able to use it since day 1.

    I agree I think we'll definitely be seeing an X2 shortly here. I love the form factor of that Mikro, Maschine is a little big to fit into a DVS setup. I feel this would go nicely on a crane stand.

    I could see the S2, as mantioned many people only use 2 decks and the S4 is pretty big. But I never once looked at Maschine and thought "wow, that's awesome but it's kind of big". Mikro's not much cheaper, and it's not much smaller, and it seems to lose the full hands on aspect that made the Maschine so popular. I guess if you're already a Maschine user and just wanted something smaller to gig with then maybe, but otherwise I think I'd rather just get the larger Maschine and have more knobs myself.
