its a stupid question, but im using one for the first time tomorrow in a competition, all i need to know is if i hit the tap button once, will the bpm lock at the current bpm like it does on the 600/800?

i don't own one but i tried it in a store, and i THINK one hit on tap will bpm lock, but i spent like 10 mins on it, so i can't garantee it works that way.
