    Hey V-Hoff,
    Sounds good, let's do this!
Articles also summarize the information of a thread. No one really wants to dig through 17 pages nowadays.

    Default Ikea booth

Ok guys so I went to Ikea and bought the bits and did it.i have some tips firstly by the single bookshelfs, they are only £20 each compared with a double at £40.buy 4 singles and save £40.i just used a piece of timber to brace them underneath making it adequately sturdy, plus overall it's slightly longer leaveing more room to play with.Secondly be careful when mounting the framed legs, you need 3strong people to turn the box over equally as not to bend one of the legs because they aren't strong as they look but still do a job (use 3).FInally the top shelf is fine fitted with the fittings it comes with don't worry about fitting longer bolts because it's "spongy"material when you get the bolt on the thread and start to turn it,it all compresses and nips up making a tight snug fit.Ive got a MacBook, audio 8 and an ashtray on and it's plenty strong.

That's it really cheap as buying singles ,I'm a builder and can vouch that it more than does the job! Get building peeps, pic to follow.
    Hope this helps

    Joe

Am really happy with the result. Especially all the logical room I have left now for additional gear (perhaps 2 Xone 1d's?) and the height, which is always an issue being 1 meter 94.
is it possible to take a pic of the back of the stand to see how did you place the brackets?

you mean the capita brackets? I can't speak for him but I got some longer bolts from lowes (metric) and some washers and plates to secure it firmly. the included bolts are too short to fit any washer on too so I just wanted to be more secure.

can you take one from the top? just tring to see where would be a good place to drill the holes.

Hi, sorry for the late response. I've mounted the brackets near the edge of the expedit, which is fine, since it's more the tightness of the bolt keeping the topshelf steady than the horizontal forces on the bolts.

One expedit is enough when it comes to depth in combination with turntables, since the brackets can fit partially under the turntables. Ones you have to mix around your setup for whatever reason you might get stuck with it though, so think clearly how you want it.

As Xonetacular says, get some extra long bolts if you can, the original ones on the brackets just fit. Enough for me since most of the weight is lifted off through the wall it's placed against.
