The improvised DJ/production desk thread

Hey Ive been looking into this project and it looks really good, so I considered to go take a look to get prices on all of this, unfortunately There is no IKEA in my town, and Homedepot does not stock those nice looking capita angled legs nor do they have the expedit's

My small town sucks. Any ideas where else you could find these? Or any alternatives?

the furniture and parts are exclusive to ikea

you could build something from scratch I guess, you could still order the smaller stuff from ikea

Darn Just noticed that, I added them angled legs to the cart on Ikea, 2 pairs and they want 57$ shipping!? Looks Like Ill have to find some sort of alternative, also those xpedits, I know I can't get those either, but is there any other hardware store that would sell them? It seems like they would be more expensive to make my own than to just buy them premade. Any ideas would be great.

Honestly, I don't feel a need for a fancy desk.

I like having my setup in the cases with a folding table. Gives me some extra room to throw some beers on the table, and I like the look of the cases.

Also doesn't hurt if I need to break down the entire setup either.

I had to drive 2.5 hours to go to Ikea. Barely could fit the stuff into my car.

If your handy build it yourself. I'm in the process of it now and it would have been about 150$ for ikea parts and thankfully I have one down the road but in the current design I have it's looking like <100$ for all the wood I need. Thankfully I have access to wood working tools so it makes it much easier for me. Plus I needed a longer table as I want my
Cdjs and turntables to be setup.
