yo man, i was just wondering what are your TTs and mixer on ? is that a table or a like a wall mounted shelf if you know what i mean ? i like this idea as it would be much cheaper than xone's setup.. and the accent lighting makes it look real cool too.. props to you zone though, thats an amazing setup and may end up building one myself yet !

Been reading the blog for a while and just stumbled across this thread.

Looking at creating a unit based on these ikea parts as just need something simple.

The table top will be slightly longer than the shelving below. Does anyone see any issues with this.

No issues with this at all. Infact see the photo below is my setup the exact same minus the legs as i'm pretty much fine with the height they are.

I saw the pic earlier and thought it was similar. I need the legs as i'm 6ft so need some extra height. I'm gonna have the table top floating like you have your speaker stands.

I'm 6 foot also but i seem to be ok with the height for some reason.. But i would really like legs but restricted because of the way my wall/roof slants. But what you have chosen out will be good.

What equipment do you have?
