Default Laptop Stand that fits NI Audio 10

    I've searched I promise

So I got TSP2... and I got me a crane stand too.

But my Audio 10 doesn't fit on the (rather shit) shelf thingy...

Pretty pissed off about that but i like the stand anyway.

I'm gonna get another stand to put my VCI-100SE on too. Which stand shelf fit the audio 10? Who has one and can confirm?

    Uberstand maybe?

It's kind of too wide and too deep... Basically the lip thing at the front and phono leads poking out the back means it just doesn't fit it. I have to sit the front of the audio 10 on top of the curved up lips... which is a little sketchy for an expensive bit of kit

The newer (and colorful) odyssey stand/shelf combo thingy's should work... i got a ton of em here at work, definately go with a colored one though because they are thicker metal and sturdier... the tray is pretty good too. Ill bring my a10dj into work tomorrow and test it out for sure.

    NI list the A10 as being 45 x 192 x 144 mm

    I use an A8 on an Uberstand and that's apparently 45 x 174 x 103 mm

So you're fine on height, and should be ok on depth ...

Don't have the NI10, but do have an Odyssey. If it fits, I can only say 'great stand'. Was banging away on a Korg on the tray with my laptop and S4 hooked up. Worked a treat.

You can fit the audio10 on the extra shelf...but it ain't pretty

What you have to do is place the audio10 onto the shelf without being connected, once you have placed on shelf, you can now connect the cables on the back (with four out cables)

It's a bit of a pain but it works, but I only use the shelf setup in the house.

It might not fit if you have decks connected to the audio10 also.

Maybe try jesters mod for the crane shelf?

Get one of these for £25. £25!!! (I bought one a while back and it was only £20 - they've bumped the price up. Bastards.)

I needed a second stand that I could fit my Motu Ultralite on (I've also got an Uberstand for my other laptop and my ESI U46DJ).

This has an open back, so the cables/connectors are not a problem.

It's height AND width adjustable. So it'll accomodate even the biggest audio interface (although, at 192mm wide, the A10 will fit even without the extended width).

    ^^That^^

    Big Up the Maplins stand.

I got mine in a Sale for £15, i have 3 of the fuckers.

The only issue is that the rubber stoppers that prevent the laptop sliding off are quite low unlike the original Magma stand. This is fine for a non unibody Mac but its a close thing with a Unibody but they do work.
