Why didn't Pioneer put real zoomed in waveforms on the CDJs 2000/900/850s?

    Default Why didn't Pioneer put real zoomed in waveforms on the CDJs 2000/900/850s?

    With such huge screens I have to wonder what the point of them are if you can't see detailed waveforms. I think the 2000s would be a great alternative to a DVS, I just don't get why they didn't include such a major feature. I know it's not a technical thing, $500 all in one units have full waveforms on their controllers and it just seems like a major missed opportunity on $1900 units.

    Prob so DJ's don't stare at waveforms all night like most laptop DJ's do.

    Or why DJs ditch Pioneer CDJs for Traktor instead :-).
