    Default Help me compile a new playlist!

    So I just realised I need to stock up on a certain type of tune. It's the sort of track you play in that period at the start of a party as people are arriving etc. Im talking chilled, but with a strong rhythm, so as people enter they wont be like 'woahhhhh this is too much' but will think oooooohhh, 'yeah im feeling this slightly funky yet chilled music'. Maybe some UKG or off-kilter house type stuff, possibly hip-hop, and some this 'post-dubstep' bass music goodness thats going round!

    eg;

    or;

    So yeah i'd love some more recommendations in the vein of the two tracks above! Dancable yet chilled party starter tunes!
    Preferably the more commercial side of things aswell, remixes or tracks with cool or interesting samples/ hooks.
    Cheers

    I'm looking for the exact same type of music. I generally just use Deadmau5 and some ambient drum n bass like Apex for warming up cause it's easy to dance to and not too intense.

    Hmmm, yeah man. I'd love to find some tracks in this post-dubstep UK bass music that are a bit less dark and a bit more dancable/ melodic but still with the really minimal structure and off kilter drums. Im sure such tunes exist, I just cant find 'em! Some remixes in that sort of vein would be amazing too!

    I suggest

    Avicii (Tim Berg):

    Fade Into Darkness (aka Penguin) there is an instrmental version and a vocal mix.
    Levels (ID)
    Sunshine (David Guetta feat. Avicii)
    Bromance (or Seek Bromance vocal mix)

    Honestly, just spend some time listening to Avicii's tracks there are a lot more than what I've listed!

    Now some other producers

    Calling - Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso
    2Night - Eric Prydz
    No Beef - Steve Akoi, Afrojack, Miss Palmer
    Kate - Arty

    I suggest looking through Beatport, there are so many hidden gems I've bought quite a lot of songs lately and plan on buying more! <3
