Haven't really had any issue myself. I don't deal with flash all that much now that beatport went HTML5 (and now Pandora has as well, and removed the limits?).
Really though, I have noticed the fan going when I've been playing music and on videochat with my wife. That's about it. I don't know if video has anything to do with it, but it is what it is.

The old Beatport was the only thing that could seriously impair my possibility of producing offspring, since that too went to HTML5, I'm happy. I'm also a supporter of a Flash-free internet, since it seriously sucks.

Are you all on the latest flash? Newer versions have GPU offloading capabilities for some flash functions.

...yes, for some GPUs and architectures. Won't work with all laptops.

Right but are not all the MBP's covered by the GPU offloading. It's been a while since I saw all of the supported chipsets. Originally Posted by ksandvik
