    Default Power-gernerating dancefloor

What an awesome idea. As a DJ and designer, this just blew me away. It also brought to mind the idea of a "portable" club being able to use this technology to run a soundsystem almost anywhere.

Wasn't there a club already that implemented this? Not anything new or exciting in the least bit. Think it was called Matter and it was by the same guys who did Fabric

Wow, amazing. Although if the DJ has the misfortune to lose the crowd he might get a power cut

haha, you better keep the dancefloor busy.

The power-outcome is very low. It is more about PR and people have the feeling that they actually do something for the nature. So in the end its a good thing.

I recently read about shoes which will generate power through pressure. Also a nice thing but not very efficient.
