Default DJ Name Drop, Other Samples

    All,

I'm looking for two samples, or maybe a tutorial on making them, etc. I want to use these for major switches between genres, BPM, etc.

    1) DJ name drop - how did you all find yours, make yours, etc? Also, do you use yours when playing in a club setting? If so, how often?

    2) I heard a mix the other day (I know it would help if I remembered which one it was but I don't) that had a sample (that I've heard multiple times in other mixes) that said "Switch up" in a deep-ish voice with some beatmasher effect into it. I'm looking for it or something similar. If you have recommendations or something better, please let me know.

    Thanks!

For name dropping I find movies,tv shows find what word's apply then paste em together..I used a boss sampler plugged, a pc into the line in set the sampler to record using words relivant and then put em together.

I believe the song you're thinking of is "Just Can't Get Enough" by the Black Eyed Peas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrTyD7rjBpw&ob=av2e

Check out the track Sweat Shop by Sting of the Dump on his bandcamp - I know it's a bootleg of Doctor P / Sweet Shop, but it's a free 320kbps track with a "switch up" sample you want right at the end of the track
