Default CDJ 400' with timecode CD's & Traktor?

So, i know you can use the CDJ400 as an HID cotroller, but i like timecode, i use it with my 800MK2 and most of the clubs i play at has the 1000mk3 or better.

So, can i use the 400s with my Audio 6, Traktor Scratch pro and Timecoded CD's? and also ofc the DJM400
    Cheers

Yes, timecode works on any playback CDJ.
Its only HID thats limited to some CDJs

Will it work exactly the same way as on the 800MK2's?

I tried my 400's with Traktor and didn't like the response I was getting from the CUE button. It would not reset to the same spot. In HID it works great, just like a controller, but the jogs were much more responsive when using SSL.

I guess it can work, but i have to press play, and then use my stored que-points to get it right

HID or "Native Support" is far superior to timecode. Well that is my personal opinion...
