I played with it at best buy, feels really really cheap and is hardly useable if you have ever DJd on anything serious. There also seemed to be latency in the display and the waveforms and whole thing seemed laggy. You might be able to get by on it in the bedroom if you have never used anything better but I couldn't use it.

oh shame, i'd love to have an all in one unit. cut out all the traktor NI (Not intuitive) rubbish.

I might still check it out

    Will DJTT do a review?

I don't like the 'all in one' thing when there's no expansion possibility. When you look at traktor, it can be/do whatever YOU want. This is little more than a mobile dj bit of kit that doesn't require cds, not pushing any boundaries either as it's just 2 decks + mixer.

Added it to my list of things to review at bpm

If they're selling that at Best Buy, you know it's shit!

I doubt it is on their radar or would interest most readers

The one thing I was thinking about with this thing- if it can have full working waveforms in a budget unit then why doesn't a CDJ-2000?

I think the only real interest is where it will lead. Imagine an s4 with with built in computer... dvs hub/traktor/tracks/soundcard in one place. Maybe with a couple of usb slots for additional devices to be link on.
as long as it had decent full screen, maybe folds out or something...?

I would be more interested in the next gen pioneer units. Full waveforms that can zoom in and beatsync over their ethernet interface then maybe showing all waveforms lined up next to each other vertical in a next gen djm-2000 style mixer. Then maybe an optional laptop/recordbox type interface just for added FX control and fine tuning. Throw that in ever club and I'll ditch a laptop, the only thing you might want a laptop for is an external FX processor.
