Have you ever met the guy thats throwing the party? Maybe you should talk to him before hand?? One of my buddies (fairly young) is a very successful entrepreneur and for his first borns 1st bday he did a block party in a "high end" neighborhood. Closed out the street, set up a 40ft slip and slide, catered, stocked bar, and by 10ish the DJ was playing EDM. Probably one of the best parties I've gone too lol
