    Default audio interface question!

    Hi Everyone

I have a question regarding setting my allen and heath xone 62 mixer as an external mixer for traktor scratch pro....

I have just brought a Behringer U-control uca-222 audio interface on ebay (i know its probably crap but it was only £25) and am still waiting for it to arrive.

here is the details of the product http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UCA222.aspx

i was just wondering would it be possible to use this to connect my mixer to my macbook and use it with traktor? I'm quite rubbish with technology so sorry if that didn't make much sense!

    thanks in advance for replies!

You need a Traktor Scratch certified mixer or the Audio 6/8/10 DJ audio interface to have scratch control.

As for that interface, it only has one stereo output, so is useless for DJing with your Xone. At the minimum, I would recommend the Audio 2 DJ or similar, which will have four outputs (two stereo pairs).

Traktor Scratch Pro comes with a high quality NI audio interface, since you don't have that I assume you pirated the software. We don't support pirated software here.

Buy a full version with the interface and we'll help you set it up.

    cheers again.
