Traktor Pro + Audio Kontrol1 + Cdjs

simple question to someone who got a similliar setup

my friend just bought traktor pro (i guess no traktor pro scratch)
and got audio kontrol 1 interface, plus 2 cdj800's (timecoded cds)

i know he had some problems seting it up

my question is is this valid setup?

can you use cdjs when having audio kontrol 1 ?

and then shouldnt traktor ask you for scratch or no scratch instalation in the wizard?

i might be totally off on this but i thought new version got the scrach built in already and able to select it or deselect it on instalation.

i thought you needed scratch and a scratch certified sound card?

Sorry mate, you need a cert. mixer or traktor scratch/pro package (w/audio 8) to use vinyl/cd decks

i assume the differnce between 4 and 8 is 4 will let me use 2 decks and 8 4 decks correct?

I have not tired using 4 decks on the audio 8, so i cannot confirm this.
