    Default Myfirst Gig tonight

    Hey DJ TT,

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the great advice and support I have received since joining. Thanks to you, a lot of practice and determination, I landed my first live gig tonight.

Its not to big, expecting between 80 and 90 people and I have the midnight to 1:30 slot. In any case I am excited, wish me luck.

80-90 is still fun and more challenging than a 1,000 gig. Exactly what you need when you begin... and also when you're too used to have 1,000 gig ... great way to ground yourself again ... IMHO

Last night went well. Due to someone elses equipment failure I started a little earlier, 11 instead of 12. It was a bit slow at first, the floor really didn't get full untill midnight.

From what I could tell everyone enjoyed the set and people kept complimenting my track selection. There was some talk later in the night about doing a new years gig.

All in all I would say it was a great success.

Cool stuff buddy! Wish you all success you deserve!
Don't worry, midnight seems to be a magic hour to have something decent happening on the dancefloor

soon you'll be up to your neck in vag. but seriously good work man, I can't wait till I start hitting clubs. (I just wanna get some more "professional" looking gear cause I don't think a numark mixtrack would look to good in a club.)
