Default Does the Bridge use special drivers?

Hey guys i've been beating my head against a wall trying to figure this issue out. So I watched DJ Endo's video on routing Traktor audio into Ableton. However I ran into one problem, I wasn't able to use timecode if I was using Jack Os X, so instead I tried using the DJM 900 as my soundcard for both Traktor and Ableton. Now the problem i'm running into is that ableton is just detecting the timecode signal instead of Traktor's audio. This is boggling my mind, does the bridge use special drivers to bypass the timecode signal coming from the serato box, could any Serato/Ableton bridge users chime in?

No especial drivers (than Serato themselves).

The Bridge is like its name says... a bridge (or socket if you prefer).

How does ableton not pick up the timecode signal. With traktor and ableton it hears that whining instead of the track deck

I didn't used JackOs sorry... what are you trying to do? Maybe it will be easy to answer because some "things" are unable to perform without the Bridge or in the same way as...
