    Default Remix Question Dubstep

    Hey all,
I'm working on a dubstep remix. Is it bad if I speed up the lyrics and the instrument i take from the song up to 140? I know this question might seem infantile, but i feel like most dubstep remixes are kept at the same speed as the original. at least the voice is. Opinions? Is it possible to keep it the same? while still making a dubstep song at 140?

Most of the songs I listen to lately totally change the vocals. They might speed them up. They may change the tone to make a female sound like a male or vice versa. They chop of the lyrics and only use some portions of the vocals. They put on effects on the vocals and keep effects on the instrumentals to a minimal.

To answer you questions simply: Do what you think works. There aren't any rules to play by.
