Default Traktor deck stutters when paused

Hi everyone. I recently switched to (or I at least I attempted switch) Traktor as my main mixing software. However, when I try to use the software, deck B stutters on its own when it is paused. As soon as I play the track though, it behaves normally. I really have no idea what the issue is. I know its not my controller or audio interface causing the problem because it happens even when they are unplugged.

    I'm running windows 7 (64bit) on a dell inspiron 1440 with 2GB of ram.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have a gig coming up this weekend and would prefer to use Traktor.

Have you gone through the steps to optimize your computer for DJing?
Ran the DPC latency checking program to identify any spikes, etc. ?

I've optimized everything and managed to get rid of most of the latency spikes. The audio quality is fine, but the problem persists. When the deck is stopped it skips forward and makes popping noises.

Try installing MIDI-OX and see if there's any MIDI signals being sent while Deck B is "paused".

Hm, that seems to be the issue. I'm getting random play and stop midi signals from midi yoke. I unplugged my controller and now it stopped (although earlier it happened even without the controller). I'm guessing this is a controller issue?

Strange, it happens when I plug in my other controllers too.

    Bad USB cable or port?
