Default First drum & bass mix

Finally sat down and did a dnb mix without (completely) botching it at some point. Nothing too crazy going on here, just some pretty simple mixing throughout. I just wanted to get something that had a good flow to it. Feedback is more than welcome.

Don't be afraid to mix the bass lines, this is the beauty of this style of music. The first mix was kind of killed by moving the crossfader over after starting a mix, working the channel faders between the two lines then a gradual fade out would be less jarring and more subtle.
The transition into Hit and Run worked much more in your favor. Good harmonic mixing into the Up all Night, would have been nice to move into another drop and just tease it. Up all Night is an anthem in my book, which is still heavy and beautiful but works best broken apart.
The transition into Cemetery worked nicely.
At about the 19 minute mark is where I hear confidence coming off in you mixes, I'm really enjoying everything, and suspect that I'm going to enjoy the rest of this session.
I suggest if for you to maybe practice for before recording, think about the difficult songs you want to put together, and go thru the tough spots, then record it. This all has a lot of potential. Maybe even warming up a little with open format playing what you want before going thru a set list, then not worry about rearranging your programming on the spot if you feel it would work better different.

Thanks for the feedback, rdaletaylor. Practicing with some of the tracks before recording a mix would definitely serve me well. I threw a playlist of 30 tracks together and just improvised from that.

Here's a download link for the mix and the tracklist. I've been trying to get it up on Soundcloud, but that doesn't seem to be working for me.

Recorded another mix late last night after I got home from the bars. After listening to it again this morning, I have to say that I'm pretty happy with the first half of it, but then it starts to be a little less seamless toward the end of the mix. All things considered, I think it turned out pretty good for the state that I was in at 3 AM and that it was all off the cuff. I figured that I'd post it to try and get some feedback on what worked well and what didn't.

I don't really mix much dnb myself but there was something off around the 8:30 min. mark and anubis->up all night. Great track list, really digging it.
