Default "bill me later" service on paypal

Anyone ever use it? I'm contemplating buying something off ebay with it because it's such a damn good deal. I just don't have the money to get it right now...

Yep its good, just pay it off within 6 months for no interest. One thing of note, you cant make your payments to it with your paypal account.

I read up on it and it says when you use the "bill me later" it will check your credit and approve you for a certain amount. Does anyone know what happens if you order the item off ebay and they don't approve you for the amount the item is? In other words, can you back out of the item if they don't approve you for it?

They check to make sure you get approved first before buying the item.

Hey just double checking, is this true? I'm thinking of using Bill Me Later because my PayPal doesn't have enough funds yet. But will I not be able to pay it off with my PayPal? It says Bill Me Later is a Paypal service. No?

    Thanks!

From the Bill Me Later website (https://personal.paypal.com/cgi-bin/...roductOverview) :

"How do I pay for my Bill Me Later purchases?
To make a payment towards your Bill Me Later balance, just log in to PayPal. You'll see the Bill Me Later box on your Account Overview page. Click the Schedule Payment button to send a payment immediately or set one up for a future date. You can schedule up to three payments in advance."

Still confused, can I not use Paypal later on to pay for my ebay purchase?

Ok found the answer from Bill Me Later's wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Me_Later):

"The approved customer can then pay the bill by mail (check) or online (via bank account) at www.billmelater.com."

"Paypal balances are not accepted as payment on Bill Me Later statements."

    Herlsy was correct :-)
