Hmm, uh oh! We've actually seen this before but couldn't get the bug reporter to give us any details. Bug report is here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863656
Are you using ASIO? What audio device do you have?
Mixxx doesn't have OSC support yet (it's on the wishlist) but if you have an OSC<->MIDI bridge like Osculator or a custom script via PureData you can hook it up. More details here: http://mixxx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2502&p=9423
Autolooping is only in the 1.10 beta.
I've personally used OSCulator and PureData to map TouchOSC to Mixxx. It works quite well. Right now I have a mapping for the 2 mix layout if anyone is interested.
Hmm. I'll have to pull out a Vista VM and try to reproduce. It's been tested in Windows 7 and XP, though. I've filed a bug here to track the issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/888774
Interesting -- so beat lines do not show up in the waveform?
(dumb question) -- did you turn on quantization? Hit the little magnet button in the above picture right below the vinyl widget.
Does it only happen with a specific track or does it affect all tracks you load?
If beats haven't been detected for your music then quantization can't work, though. So if there's no beat grid then that makes sense.
