Default Control two programs with one APC40???

So here is the deal, i have written a custom TSI for my APC40 so i can use it in Traktor. I plan on running Traktor 2 in sync with Ableton 8.2. I want to be able to control both programs with just one APC. One "mode" would be my custom map. The other "mode" would be the regular Ableton controls. Is this possible? if so, how would i go about working it out? Any tips or pieces of advice would be awesome!

P.S. i am very proud of my TSI. if you have a APC40 check it out and let me know what you think!

It is possible, but the method I'm thinking of would make the APC40 lose its native control surface behavior for Ableton.

zestoi's midimasher can handle the APC40's controls, and loopMIDI can create several MIDI ports for use. I haven't tried this myself yet, but if you have two MIDI ports for Traktor, two MIDI ports for Ableton, and the midimasher software managing two pages of controls, you should be able to control Traktor and Ableton with the same APC40.
