    Default New To DJing, just bought Mictrack, HELP!

    Okay so I just got the Numark Mixtrack (not pro), and the numark sound card iio, now im just starting out and i wanted tips on how to get better, good techniques, the "do's and dont's", basic tips, etc. I dont know if this helps but i play dubstep, house, rap, and pop music.

    As they say practice makes perfect. Just fool around with it first and see how everything works. Watch tutorial videos, etc. thats what I did :P

    Youtube some videos, a good place to start is Dubspot on youtube, learn musical theory, and other tricks and tips. Most of all practice practice practice. Get to know your songs, wich mix well with others wich ones don't. Just keep playing around.
