I am playing tonight and Friday at the club I have residency at and it's always been my experience that these nights are hit and miss. I am preparing myself for a slow night. Fridays are always hit and miss for us anyways.
Last year I did a sushi bar gig on Friday after Thanksgiving and the place was packed!!
Anyone else gig on Thanksgiving? what has been your experiences?

Thanksgiving eve is the BIGGEST bar night of the year. Best possible night to have a gig. Even the worst of dives do well tonight.

i have a gig tonight (thursday) and one tomorrow, tonight is a bar that holds 400 and friday is at a club that holds 1k, thing is this time of year both nights are on their arse, so the bar we're expecting about 150 whith only half of it open and friday we're expecting about 300 with only the room that holds 450 open, but its a case of keeping everyone that does show up happy
