    Default K-Sea's Setup.

Hey peeps, quick pick of the current light setup. too lazy to bring my gear down the the studio in BASSment after gigs sometimes. Minus a few pieces of gear, notably the 1210's and Akai MPD32 at the moment, also not in pick but there is a Behringer xenyh 1204 multi-channel usb mixer since I got some peeps coming over in a bit to spin, they just plug in their S4 or Kontrol X1

You know, I may not personally like Torq all that much (still an ugly GUI IMO) but I was really impressed by the improvements of 2.0 over 1.0. It's really much better, and I don't think people give it enough credit.

I know my buddy does still have some stability issues with it, and it seems to forget his mappings every so often. Not reliable enough for me to take out, but he still swears down up left right about it.

Nice seeing a different software as the hub

I read the blog a lot but don't come into the forums often, might actually be correct. I don't remember last time I was in here. I will have to surf through posts a bit more often.

I like them a lot but still need to get some of the buttons midi mapped to some functions in torq, just been slacking on finishing up my midi maps.

I love the MIDI mode, that along with xponent and 4 channel mixer and it's a nice 4 deck alternative to the controllers. 9 out of 10 sets I use them in MIDI mode but from time to time it's nice to play CD's or mp3s through USB mode.

USB mode is nice and you can link 2 or more together, it reads fast from the usb drive but I have trouble with file names sometimes, need to wait for scroll to get through a few seconds if you don't know the song. Think the text could be smaller to fit more on the screen.

The platters are nice with metal tops and the rubber construction of the whole unit and sides of the platters are this fuzzy rubber I can't seem to touch enough.

BPM detection is not the best and about my only complaint for them.
