    Default Problems with beatmatching

Both tracks are SYNC'ed and the BPMs are matched but beats are not even though I set the CUE point accurate. What am I doing wrong? I'm using my friend's cdj-2000s and finish my beatmatching manually with jog wheels. How am I supposed to do it with my S4 also?

Are your beat grids set accurately?

This is what I do. get both the tempos the same with the pitch faders.

Then beatmatch the rest by ear. I never use the SYNC button as none of my songs have been beat gridded

Doesn't the lack of beat grid mean your Traktor time based fx will not be in time?

The OP said sync'd in his post so I mistakenly took it as he was using the sync button.

Try the gater or beat masher or delay set on 1/4. Should be able to hear if they are off. If there is no grid it will most likely be off.

Did you have traktor auto grid for you? It will get it right sometimes, and you would see grid lines and a white triangle cue marker.
