Default Help, skipping issue TSP, CDJ 1K, windows

I am posting this up for a frustrated friend. His system was working fine, then had to send the Audio 8 soundcard for repair, and now since it has come back, he is getting skipping problems. the cdjs play fine with regular cds and djm 500. I am going to try an visit him with my macbook and see if that changes anything, but it all worked before on the exact same hardware, so im thinking its not a comp issue.

    Hey,

I repeatedly have issues with "cd skipping". I've tried the latency way and no results (48000, 192, 4.0). I've also tried the new cd timecode update with no luck. I can't format to mp3 due to original cdj-1000 being used (not mp3 capable). I've calibrated it multiple times simply playing the time code cd's and no luck as well.

My system (HP a6302f, AMD athlon 64 X2 - 2.6 Gh, 3GB ram) ran a performance index and my ram runs at a 5.9 with 5.2 calcs per second.

Not really sure what to do. Ever since the new unit came back since it crashed, i've had the issue (Audio DJ 8 replaced by service, they didn't have any available and said they found one. Thoughts??)

    Maybe re-install the program?

I appreciate any input, thanks it advance.

Do you mean change the sample rate from 88200 to 44100?
thats all i see in the audio setup section. I dont see any way to change a "bit rate" or numbers that even come close to 44.1
