    What soundcard are you using?

Update to the latest drivers and increase your usb buffer size may help with audio dropouts

You followed the windows optimising tips that are in the S4 forum?

If not then make sure you disable unnecessary processes, turn off battery manager, disable wifi internet connection and disable your firewall and any internet security software. This should stop drop outs without needing to increase your latency any further.

Ok ill try select the S4 one an close all the un needed applications an see if i can get this working.

If not I might have to go down to the version before 2.1.1

I was reading that the realtek drivers which are in my laptop are really bad for traktor? But that shouldnt matted as im using the soundcard from the S4 right?

Update. I did the following so far

Checked Dell website and there are no driver or BIOS updates available for my current Laptop. I also checked my graphics card, Also no update. An I turned my windows automatic updates off, Thats all I did for the update side am I missing anything

Downloaded ASIO4ALL but was told to use the Traktor S4 as the soundcard.

I didnt disable any of the devices like bluetooth an WLAN card yet. But I did have them all turned off when I was in traktor.

For energy options I did the following and changed the Hard disc, Sleep, Display, Processor power management, I also changed the High Performance settings.

And I disabled the power USB ports.

These are all the changes that I had make an was still getting the audio spikes, When using the checker in the system tools in the S4 control panel.

At the moment the best way to play is to have multi core unticked.

Process buffer is 256. Usb buffer was on 4.

I dont know what else to do then, Either sell my dell an get a mac. Or sell the S4 an go back to CDJ's

Any help would be great. Should I try tracker 2.03 or something?
